Not an hour back on the job and I shoot a surf rescue call where two kids, their dad and two others trying to help were rescued from the surf at the Bolstad beach approach. And it just so happened that my amazing surf rescue swimmer wife was picnicking with the kids less than 100 yards away and jumped in to save one of the girls. Yeah, she's pretty incredible.
And BTW, today is the anniversary of the Dale Ostrander rescue. We are so fortunate to have these volunteers that risk their lives every time they go out.
