The recovery of Jessi Harman, Naselle, Wa.

Last May while playing in a barn, 4-year-old Jessi Harman became tangled in bailing twine, choking her and cutting off oxygen to her brain. In the nearly year since, she has made a dramatic recovery and continues to surprise doctors and her parents.
These are photos from the piece written by Katie Wilson in this weeks paper. Be sure to check it out as it is a great read (I'll post a link here later once it's published)

Absolutely beautiful photos; the black and white is so dramatic. Love them!
