Politicians partake in beach clean-up, Seaview, Long Beach, Wa.

So yesterday I hunted a politician. 

Unlike several other GOP politicians, like state senator Michael Baugartner, who is running for the US Senate (ABOVE), who were cleaning a stretch of Seaview beach, Congresswoman Jaime Herrera Beutler was a hard one to locate during the annual July 5th beach clean up. I finally found her a couple miles away just off Bolstad approach (I guess the allure of network TV cameras was too great). But it was great to see so many people out there getting all the firework junk off the beach.

And, as always, it was very fine to run into my man Wags from the TDN.
