Tuesday night the Ilwaco girls basketball team lost a heartbreaker of a game to Montesano, ending their season. The game had the winner advancing to the District tournament. The Lady Fishermen played great in the first half, but had a hard time finding the basket for much of the third quarter, allowing Montesano to take the lead. The Lady Fishermen fought back, having possession of the ball in the final seconds down by just two. The shot at the buzzer did not go down.
